My Help and My God
There are moments when we feel so small beneath the weight of life — overwhelmed, weary, and unsure of where to look. This piece was created to reflect the turning point in Psalm 42:11, when a downcast soul remembers from whom true help comes.
The towering mountain represents the strength, steadiness, and greatness of God. The small figure below reflects our human weakness — fragile, limited, and in need. But the beam of light resting on the person is the heart of this piece: God’s presence reaching down with help, hope, and peace.
Even when the soul feels cast down, we are not forgotten. God remains higher than our fear, stronger than our sorrow, and nearer than we realize. He is still our help. He is still our God.
